Position Overview

Be creative, have fun, and satisfy customers while optimizing restaurant sales and cash flow by implementing store plans and ensuring adherence to quality, cleanliness, and customer service standards.

Job Responsibilities

  • Greeting guests in a friendly manner and taking orders accurately and repeating all orders to the guest.
  • Crafting and preparing certain food and beverage items to spec and customer satisfaction.
  • This position requires knowledge of the menu items, their preparation, and their ingredients. 
  • Responsible for delivering orders to the guest and is responsible for accurate cash control. 
  • Responsible for cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen, dining room, rest rooms or public facing areas.
  • All orders must be verified for correctness and completion in a timely manner. 
  • The team member must follow all checklists and keep the store stocked and ready for the next shift.

Job Specifications

  • People with a desire to satisfy guests. Prior experience in a guest service type role or position a plus. 
  • 16 years of age or older.
  • Ability to be self‐reliant while executing assigned duties from management staff.
  • Able to speak, read, and write effectively. Excellent oral communication skills to effectively
communicate with management, corporate staff, restaurant employees, and customers.
  • Must adhere to Gong cha uniform and grooming policies and standards. 
  • Able to stand and walk for 95% ‐ 100% of shift
  • Able to lift and carry a maximum of 50 pounds
  • Able to work flexible hours
  • Ability to travel to assigned restaurant location and execute in your position.
